Another year, another award. For the fifth year in a row, InBusiness Magazine has named EZ Office Products the best office supply company in Madison. When Gary and I set up shop in 2006 (small warehouse and all), we only dreamed of being recognized as the cream of the crop. I wanted to take some time to recognize each group that has helped grow our business over the past decade, and allow us to win this prestigious honor year-after-year.
Sports play a big role in our daily water cooler talk. Whether it’s about our Packers, Badgers, or even the Mallards, us Wisconsinites love our local teams. In fact, Amanda and I wrote a song to the tune of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” recently for a Dane Buy Local Silent Auction:

I love my work. It’s something that inspires me everyday. One thing I do tend to struggle with in my career, and I’m sure some of you can relate with me, is work-life balance. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day. While my balance isn’t perfect, here are a few things I do to help make it work.
Surprisingly, left-handed people are uncommon. The fact is, only one in ten people in the world are left handed. August 13 is International Left Handers Day where we southpaws observe our singularity from the other 90% of the planet. To celebrate this favorite day, I’ve compiled a few interesting facts found from studies about left handed people.
Spring is finally here. Even though this year’s winter wasn’t so harsh, it’s nice to see the sun stay out a little longer each day. You know it’s spring when there’s talk about Badgers Basketball and the Big 12 Conference Championship (or potentially a March Madness run. One can only hope.) There are many things big and small during spring that reminds me why I’m in love with Madison.
Have you decided your New Year’s Resolution yet? If not, you can always think about how you can organize your desk and workspace for a more productive you. According to a study conducted by Nielsen, 18 percent of Americans are planning on improving their organizational skills with the start of the New Year. If you fall into this group and are not sure where to start, here are some of our favorite products to help de-clutter your workspace.
There’s no place like home for the holidays. I can’t think of a better place to spend it than with my “Rosie Molz-ie Family”. Yet, with all of the events going on in Madison, it’s one of the most festive place I can think of to celebrate the holidays. The words “joy” and “family” always comes to mind when I think of December.
