Elkhorn OktoberfestOctober 17th 9:00am – 5:00pm
Located in Veterans and Pocket Parks, the 10th Annual Elkhorn Oktoberfest is gearing up for another wonderful festival. With entertainment starting as soon as the event starts with Dreams Studio Performing Arts at the Entertainment Stage, this is going to be a jam-packed day. Make sure you come hungry because there are going to be food vendors serving all your Oktoberfest favorites. If you have a need for some heat, for $5 you can get a taste of all the chilis that are entered in the Chili Cook-off. For those 21 and over, treat yourself with a ticket to the Enhanced Wine and Beer Tasting from 11:00am until 5:00pm. For $12 you will get six tastings of German beers in a take home Elkhorn Oktoberfest mug.
St. Martin of ToursOctober 17th 1:00 – 10:00pm
Fun for the entire family, the third annual Oktoberfest celebration at St. Martin of Tours is gearing up for another amazing festival. With free admission, you can enjoy games for younger children, the apple pie contest, and a variety of musical groups. For $20 a person, you can enjoy a dinner by Saz’s, which will include pork steak, spaetzle, and homemade desserts. Make your reservations today because the dinner does fill up. For those 21 and over from 6:30 until 8:30pm, there is a beer tasting at a small additional cost.
Dorf HausOctober 18th Bar opens at 10:30am, buffet opens at 12:00pm and show is from 1:00 to 3:00pm
With the sounds of folk music from the Dork Kapelle band as your background, you will be immediately immersed in Oktoberfest at Dorf Haus. Get transported right back to Germany’s month long celebration on October 18th at the dinner show with a Bavarian buffet that will include spatzle, German potato salad, sauerbraten, and more. Reservations are required in advance and the price for the dinner and show is $40 per person.
